TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction and Binding Effect

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to, participation in, and use of the British Learning Global Research Journal (“Journal”), an institutional academic visibility platform operated by British Learning and Accessories Private Limited, having its registered office in India, under the brand name BritishLearning.UK (“British Learning”).
By accessing the Journal, submitting research-related information, permitting the display of academic details, uploading validation documents, or otherwise participating in any manner whatsoever, the author, contributor, mentor, or user (“Contributor”) expressly acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms. These Terms constitute a valid and enforceable electronic contract under applicable Indian law.

2. Legal Status and Character of the Journal

The Journal is an institutional academic visibility platform created solely for educational documentation and academic representation.
The Journal is not a peer-reviewed academic journal, publishing house, indexing agency, regulatory authority, accreditation body, degree-awarding institution, or statutory organisation. Nothing contained on the Journal shall be construed as publication, peer review, indexing, certification, endorsement, or academic approval by British Learning or any third party.
The Journal functions exclusively as an internal academic record and visibility mechanism within the educational and research ecosystem of British Learning.

3. Purpose and Scope

The Journal exists for the limited purpose of providing structured institutional visibility to research work developed through mentor-guided academic learning. It seeks to promote research discipline, ethical scholarly conduct, and responsible academic documentation.
The Journal is not intended to replace or substitute universities, academic journals, commercial publishers, or recognised research repositories, nor does it create any academic, professional, or regulatory entitlement.

4. Research India Academic Outreach Initiative

Research India is an academic outreach initiative conceptualised and operated by British Learning to support structured, mentor-guided research learning in India. The initiative is designed to address access and cost barriers commonly associated with commercial research publishing.
Research India does not constitute a publication programme, indexing service, academic qualification, or certification mechanism. Participation under Research India does not imply publication, peer review, indexing eligibility, academic credit, degree equivalence, or recognition by any university, regulator, or third-party authority.

5. Eligibility and Discretionary Listing

Research listed on the Journal may originate from British Learning academic initiatives, research mentorship programmes, fellowships, or independent mentor-guided research activities recognised by British Learning.
All listings are subject to internal review and absolute discretion. British Learning reserves the unrestricted right to accept, reject, suspend, modify, or remove any listing at any time, with or without notice, and without any obligation to provide reasons.
No Contributor shall acquire any vested, contractual, or enforceable right to listing by reason of submission, participation, enrolment, or payment of any fee.

6. Academic Expectations and Internal Standards

Research listed on the Journal is expected to demonstrate structured academic intent, ethical research conduct, appropriate referencing, and mentor-guided development. British Learning may prescribe internal academic formats, guidelines, or expectations for the purpose of maintaining academic discipline.
Such standards are internal and educational in nature and shall not be construed as peer review, quality certification, originality certification, or validation for external academic, professional, or regulatory purposes.

7. Mentor Eligibility and Validation

All research listed on the Journal must be supported by a Mentor Validation Certificate.
Mentors eligible to provide academic guidance and validation under the Journal framework shall be strictly limited to individuals who are holders of a doctoral degree (PhD) from a recognised institution or registered Medical Doctors holding valid professional qualifications.
Mentor validation confirms only that the research was developed under academic guidance and follows basic research structure and ethical practice. Mentor validation does not certify originality, guarantee acceptance by any journal, confirm compliance with third-party academic requirements, or substitute plagiarism checks, ethics committee approvals, or peer review processes conducted by external bodies.

8. Information Displayed

The Journal displays limited academic metadata for identification and visibility purposes. Such information may include the Contributor’s name, city, contact email address, research topic, sub-topic, and research category.
The Journal does not host full manuscripts, downloadable research papers, datasets, supplementary materials, or digital object identifiers. British Learning reserves the right to modify the nature, format, or extent of information displayed at its discretion.

9. Intellectual Property and Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the research work remain exclusively with the Contributor. British Learning does not claim ownership, co-authorship, publication rights, or proprietary interest in any research listed on the Journal.
Listing on the Journal does not restrict the Contributor from submitting the research to universities, journals, repositories, or any other academic or professional platforms.

10. Contributor Representations and Indemnity

The Contributor represents and warrants that the research submitted is original to the best of their knowledge, does not infringe any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any third party, and complies with all applicable laws, ethical standards, and academic norms.
The Contributor agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless British Learning, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, mentors, and representatives from and against any and all claims, disputes, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to allegations of plagiarism, copyright infringement, patent infringement, data misuse, breach of confidentiality, ethical violations, authorship disputes, or misrepresentation by the Contributor.
This indemnity obligation shall survive removal of the listing, termination of participation, or cessation of access to the Journal.

11. Ethics, Accuracy, and Removal Rights

Contributors are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and ethical compliance of all information submitted. British Learning does not independently verify originality, factual accuracy, or legal compliance.
British Learning reserves the right to review, suspend, modify, or permanently remove any listing that, in its sole discretion, poses academic, ethical, reputational, legal, or compliance risks. Such action shall not give rise to any claim for compensation or damages.

12. No Guarantees and Limitation of Liability

British Learning makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding indexing, citations, academic admissions, employment outcomes, professional recognition, regulatory approval, or acceptance by any third-party institution or authority.
All use of the Journal is at the sole discretion and risk of the Contributor. British Learning shall not be liable for any decisions, actions, or interpretations made by universities, journals, employers, regulators, or other third parties based on information displayed on the Journal.

13. Non-Misrepresentation Obligation

Contributors, mentors, and third parties shall not represent or imply that the Journal or the Research India initiative constitutes a peer-reviewed journal, publishing platform, indexing service, or accredited academic authority.
Any misrepresentation may result in immediate removal of listings and initiation of appropriate legal proceedings.

14. Click-Wrap Acceptance

By clicking “I Agree”, submitting information, uploading research details, or proceeding with listing, the Contributor expressly confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions and acknowledges that such acceptance constitutes a legally binding electronic agreement under applicable Indian law.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes, claims, or proceedings arising out of or in connection with these Terms, the Journal, or participation therein, to the exclusion of all other courts.
