MEMBERSHIP UNDERTAKING, CONSENT & LIMITED VISIBILITY DECLARATION

(Research India CSR Initiative – February 2026)

This Undertaking, Consent, and Limited Visibility Declaration (“Undertaking”) is executed by the undersigned individual (“Applicant”) in favour of British Learning and Accessories Private Limited, having its registered office at Mumbai, Maharashtra (“British Learning”), which administers and operates the British Learning Research Council and allied academic platforms.

This Undertaking governs the Applicant’s participation in the Research India Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative and any associated visibility, listing, or interaction with British Learning platforms.

1. Mode of Acceptance and Legal Validity
This Undertaking shall be deemed valid, binding, and enforceable upon the Applicant undertaking any of the following actions:
  • Submitting personal, academic, professional, photographic, or video details through any form, platform, or medium operated by or on behalf of British Learning.
  • Clicking “I Agree”, “I Accept”, or any similar acceptance mechanism.
  • Permitting publication or continued display of any content on British Learning platforms.
  • Continuing to access or interact with British Learning platforms after submission of details.

Such conduct shall constitute free, informed, and unconditional consent under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, notwithstanding the absence of a physical or digital signature.

2. Nature of the Research India CSR Initiative
The Applicant expressly acknowledges that:
  • The Research India initiative is a voluntary CSR-driven visibility initiative undertaken by British Learning;
  • Any listing, display, or publication under this initiative is gratuitous, discretionary, non-commercial, and revocable;
  • The initiative does not constitute an offer of membership, appointment, accreditation, certification, employment, consultancy, or professional engagement.
3. Scope of Complimentary Listing
Under the February 2026 CSR initiative, British Learning may, at its sole discretion, provide the Applicant with a complimentary visibility listing, strictly limited to:
  • Applicant’s Name
  • City of residence
  • One profile photograph
  • One introductory video not exceeding thirty (30) seconds

Such listing, if granted, shall remain live on the British Learning website until 31st December 2026, unless withdrawn earlier.

4. No Rights, Entitlements, or Claims
The Applicant unequivocally agrees and acknowledges that:
  • The complimentary listing confers no legal, contractual, academic, professional, or proprietary rights;
  • No assurance is given regarding mentorship, academic guidance, certification, documentation, verification, income, or opportunity;
  • The Applicant shall not claim or imply any entitlement arising from such listing;
  • Mere submission of details does not constitute confirmation of membership of the British Learning Research Council or any affiliated body.
5. Paid Membership and Separate Consideration
Full programme facilities, including certification, academic or professional transcripts, QR-verifiable ID cards, verified profiles, listings on the British Learning Global Research Journal or Repository, institutional documentation, verification systems, and eligibility for advanced academic initiatives, shall be available only upon payment of the applicable membership fee (currently ₹25,000 + GST) and formal acceptance by British Learning.

British Learning reserves absolute discretion to accept or reject any application for paid membership, without assigning reasons.

6. No Mentorship or Engagement Assurance
The Applicant expressly agrees that:
  • No mentorship, review, validation, or academic engagement is assured under the free listing or otherwise;
  • British Learning does not allocate, assign, or guarantee mentorship or academic work;
  • Any engagement, if at all, is incidental and subject to independent academic suitability and availability.

7. Intellectual Property, Consent & Usage Rights

The Applicant grants British Learning an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, host, reproduce, publish, display, adapt, edit, and distribute the Applicant’s name, photograph, video, and submitted materials across websites, repositories, promotional content, institutional communications, social media, brochures, and marketing materials, without further consent or compensation.

8. Right of Modification, Removal, or Withdrawal

British Learning reserves the unrestricted right to modify, suspend, restrict, or remove any listing, content, or visibility at any time, without notice or liability, in furtherance of institutional, legal, or reputational considerations.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, British Learning shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, reputational, or opportunity-related claims arising from the Applicant’s participation in the CSR initiative or reliance upon any listing.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Undertaking shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Undertaking.

By submitting details, permitting publication, or continuing interaction with British Learning platforms, the Applicant confirms that they have read, understood, and unconditionally accepted this Undertaking in its entirety.
