RESEARCH MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
(Research Paper Development & Publication Support)

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the enrolment, participation, and services provided under the Research Mentorship Program (“Program”) offered by British Learning and Accessories Private Limited, operating under the brand BritishLearning.UK, having its registered office at 5th Floor, Raheja Titanium, Western Express Highway, Goregaon East, Mumbai – 400063, Maharashtra, India, and also having a registered presence at 1151 Walker Rd, PMB 349, Dover, Delaware, 19904, United States of America (hereinafter referred to as “BritishLearning”, which expression shall, unless repugnant to the context or meaning thereof, include its successors and permitted assigns).

By enrolling in the Program, making payment, accessing Program materials, or otherwise participating in the Program, the participant (hereinafter referred to as the “Student”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.

1. LEGALLY BINDING DIGITAL ACCEPTANCE

1.1 The Student expressly agrees that acceptance of these Terms through any electronic or digital mechanism, including but not limited to clicking an “I Agree” checkbox, completing payment, submitting an online form, or participating in onboarding activities, shall constitute valid and legally binding consent.

1.2 Such electronic acceptance shall be deemed equivalent to a physical signature and shall be enforceable under applicable laws governing electronic contracts in India.

1.3 BritishLearning shall be entitled to rely on system‑generated records, timestamps, IP logs, communication logs, and payment confirmations as conclusive evidence of acceptance.

2. NATURE OF THE PROGRAM

2.1 The Program is a structured academic mentorship and research documentation support service intended to assist the Student in preparing a research manuscript based on the Student’s own knowledge, professional experience, and available academic literature.

2.2 The Program is strictly non‑clinical, non‑experimental, and non‑interventional in nature. It does not involve patient‑based studies, clinical trials, laboratory work, or medical experimentation.

2.3 BritishLearning is not a university, statutory authority, medical council, or degree‑granting institution. Participation in the Program does not confer any academic degree, clinical qualification, licence to practise, or statutory or regulatory recognition under Indian law.

3. COMPLIANCE AND NON GUARANTEE OF OUTCOMES

3.1 The Program and these Terms shall be interpreted in compliance with applicable consumer protection laws and ethical standards in India.

3.2 No part of the Program, including mentoring, guidance, drafting support, or communication, shall be construed as a guarantee of publication, professional advancement, academic recognition, clinical success, commercial benefit, or any specific outcome.

3.3 The Student acknowledges that any perceived benefit from participation is subjective and dependent on individual effort and external factors beyond the control of BritishLearning.

4. ROLE OF BRITISHLEARNING

4.1 BritishLearning provides academic facilitation services, including guidance in topic selection, research structuring, literature understanding, drafting support, formatting support, and submission coordination.

4.2 BritishLearning does not act as a journal, publisher, indexing authority, accreditation body, or regulatory authority.

4.3 All publication‑related activities are conducted through independent third‑party journals, over which BritishLearning has no editorial or decision‑making control.

5. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES

5.1 The Student shall be solely responsible for the accuracy, originality, legality, and integrity of all content, data, and information provided for the purposes of the Program.

5.2 The Student undertakes that no plagiarised, infringing, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content shall be submitted.

5.3 BritishLearning shall not be liable for any claims, losses, or liabilities arising from the content provided by the Student, including claims of plagiarism, copyright infringement, defamation, or factual inaccuracies.

6. PUBLICATION AND EDITORIAL CONTROL

6.1 The Student acknowledges that publication of any manuscript is subject entirely to independent editorial and peer‑review processes of the journal.

6.2 BritishLearning does not guarantee acceptance, rejection, publication, indexing, citation, or recognition of any manuscript.

6.3 Editorial decisions of the journal shall be final and binding.

7. JOURNAL SELECTION AND THIRD PARTY DISCLAIMER

7.1 Journal selection shall be based on subject relevance, editorial scope, and submission feasibility.

7.2 BritishLearning reserves the right to recommend, modify, or re‑route journal allocation where required.

7.3 Journals are independent third‑party entities. BritishLearning shall not be responsible for journal credibility, indexing status, operational continuity, policy changes, or any actions or omissions of such journals.

8. NO TIME BOUND COMMITMENT

8.1 The Student expressly acknowledges that all timelines relating to review, revision, acceptance, publication, DOI assignment, hosting, or certification are determined solely by the journal and its editorial processes.

8.2 BritishLearning does not provide, commit to, or guarantee any timelines, whether indicative or otherwise, for any stage of the publication process.

8.3 BritishLearning shall not be liable for any delay, suspension, or non‑completion arising from third‑party editorial workflows, peer review duration, policy changes, or technical systems.

9. DOI AND CERTIFICATION

9.1 Upon successful publication, the journal may, at its sole discretion and in accordance with its policies, assign a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and/or issue a Certificate of Publication.

9.2 The Student acknowledges that a DOI is a technical reference identifier only and does not represent academic ranking, indexing status, regulatory recognition, or professional qualification.

10. FEES AND PAYMENT TERMS

10.1 The Program fee is ₹24,000 (Rupees Twenty‑Four Thousand only) plus applicable GST, and covers academic mentorship, research structuring, drafting support, formatting, and submission facilitation.

10.2 Inclusion of publication support does not constitute a guarantee of publication.

10.3 All fees paid are non‑refundable once the Program has commenced, except where services have not been initiated due solely to reasons attributable to BritishLearning.

11. REVISIONS AND RE SUBMISSION

11.1 In the event of rejection or revision requirements, BritishLearning may provide reasonable assistance for revision and re‑submission.

11.2 Re‑submission does not guarantee acceptance and remains subject to journal discretion.

12. PROHIBITION ON MISREPRESENTATION

12.1 The Student shall not misrepresent credentials, affiliations, authorship, or publication status.

12.2 Terms such as “Published Author” or “Research Contributor” shall be used only upon actual publication.

12.3 The Student shall not use the Program or its outputs to make claims that violate applicable professional or advertising standards.

13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

BritishLearning shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising out of publication delays, rejection, journal‑related issues, DOI matters, certificate issuance, or third‑party actions beyond its control.

14. INDEMNITY

The Student agrees to indemnify and hold harmless BritishLearning from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising out of the content submitted by the Student, misuse of research output, or misrepresentation.

15. NO MEDICAL OR CLINICAL RELIANCE

The Student acknowledges that any research produced under the Program is academic in nature and shall not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

16. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

16.1 The Student retains ownership of their research content, subject to applicable journal publication policies.

16.2 BritishLearning may use non‑confidential portions of the research, such as the title or abstract, for academic or promotional purposes.

17. DATA PROTECTION

Where personal data is processed digitally, BritishLearning shall process such data in accordance with applicable Indian data protection principles. Any grievance relating to data or services may be raised as provided below.

18. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL

Any grievance or complaint relating to the Program or these Terms may be addressed to:

BritishLearning shall address such grievances in a reasonable manner consistent with applicable laws.

19. TERMINATION

BritishLearning reserves the right to terminate participation in the Program in cases of misconduct, non‑cooperation, or breach of these Terms. No refund shall be applicable in such cases.

20. FORCE MAJEURE

BritishLearning shall not be liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including technical disruptions, third‑party failures, or regulatory changes.

21. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Courts at Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

22. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Student and BritishLearning and supersede all prior communications, representations, or understandings.

FINAL ACCEPTANCE

By enrolling, making payment, or accepting digitally, the Student confirms acceptance of these Terms without reservation.
